Jim Vandeveer was born in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from high school, he served in the military in World War II, and was honorably discharged as a sergeant. |
|
|
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a minor in geology. He began his business career as a sales engineer for an oil company. After fifteen years in the energy industry, he formed Vantex Enterprises, which is involved in oil and gas production, as well as real estate development, banking and farming. Jim also was on the board of directors of Ashland, Inc for 32-years - serving longer than any director in Ashland's history. He was chairman of that company's energy committee, among others. |

Jim bought Centennial Liquor Stores from its founder, Albert Susman, in 1967. The organization has operated profitably since that time. J.W Vandeveer is currently chairman of the board of Vantex Enterprises, Inc., which is the parent company of Centennial Fine Wine and Spirits. |

|
|
Vicki Vandeveer Moore joined Centennial Fine Wine and Spirits in the summer of 1973, while she was in college. She learned the business by working in the stores and each administrative area. Vicki graduated from Southern Methodist University and did post-graduate work at the University of Texas-Austin. |

|
Vicki began her post-college career in real estate in Dallas, before rejoining the family business, Vantex Enterprises, Inc. in 1985. Since joining Vantex, Vicki has worked in various administrative capacitates. She took a two-year leave of absence to earn her master's degree in international management in Heidelberg, Germany. |

|
Greg Wonsmos joined Centennial Fine Wine and Spirits as controller in 1977. He was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer in 1983, and was named president in March 1996. |

Before joining Centennial, he was employed in public accounting by Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., in Dallas, where he specialized in audits of retail, wholesale and insurance companies. |
|
|
|
Greg graduated from college with a Bachelors of Science degree in accounting. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1976. |

Roger Voss joined Centennial Fine Wine and Spirits in April 1996. |
|
|
|
Roger was born in Decatur, Texas and attended Highland Park High School, in Dallas. He attended Southern Methodist University, majoring in finance and marketing. After college, he worked in the oil production and securities industries before entering the spirits business. |

|
|
Roger earned his certification by the Court of Master Sommeliers, and owned and operated a fine wine and spirits store in Steamboat Springs, Colorado before joining Centennial. He is currently Executive Vice President in charge of Retail Sales and Marketing for Centennial Fine Wine and Spirits. |
